Warmth and style galore Positive: This was a real home away from home with lots of thoughtful touches and extremely stylish interiors. Lots of beautiful textiles, artwork etc made it really unique. The location is fantastic with the beach a very short walk away; we walked to the Sunday market and man street for dinner as well. The outdoor spaces are lovely. We basically felt like we were living in some kind of architecture/style-related magazine. One thing to note is that we didn’t realise when booking that there are two separate buildings at this property: the main house has one double room and the room with four bunk beds. You have to specify when booking whether you need access to the other building, which has another master room with ensuite and a room with single beds. This led to some confusion when we arrived which was quickly sorted out through the management company. The house has great amenities including a washer and dryer, coffee machine, strong wifi etc. The kids loved the bunk beds which are all king single size and very comfortable. It’s super spacious with a couple of different outdoor areas as well, so great for larger groups. I really appreciated the doors that separated the different zones of the house which blocked off sound so I didn’t wake the kids up when going for a morning walk! Negative: The “home away from home” aspect meant there were a few things that really were like being in someone else’s home (as that’s literally what this property is), like some large stains on some furniture, areas under chairs/beds that hadn’t been dusted etc. But, the most important things (beds, bathroom) were sparkling clean and these small imperfections didn’t detract from our stay. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the main doors are quite heavy and don’t slide well. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and could tell that there had previously been a dog in the house, but others in my party didn’t notice this. Again, these are minor quibbles.

It was a perfect house for a winter holiday. Positive: Beautiful home, very cosy. So grateful to stay here
